چکیده

استقلال تحمیلی جمهوری‌های آسیای مرکزی، این کشورها را از واحدهایی اداری تبدیل به دولت‌های ملی با مرزهای بین‌المللی کرد. استحاله شوروی سابق این امکان را بوجود آورد که انواع بحران‌های مختلف بین این جمهوری‌هایی که حاصل سیاست‌های شورویایی بوده است، به منصه ظهور برسند. در حالی که این جمهوری‌ها ویژگی‌های مشترک زیادی از جمله تاریخ مشترک، اقتصادهای وابسته به کشاورزی و آب و تهدید‌های امنیتی مشترکی دارند، چالش‌های مشترکی در تقابل با یکدیگر دارند. عاملیت جغرافیایی و جبر جغرافیایی بر همه مولفه‌های دیگر بین این جمهوری‌ها تاثیر داشته است، به‌گونه‌ای که امنیت را تبدیل به اولویت اصلی این کشورها کرده است. جبر جغرافیایی بر اقتصاد، محیط زیست، سیاست و همه ابعاد این جوامع تاثیر داشته است. به‌گونه‌ای که نگاه مبتنی بر احتیاط و بدبینی را بین آن‌ها حاکم کرده است. تاثیر جبر جغرافیایی به ویژه محصور بودند در خشکی، روابط این جمهوری‌ها با ایران را در شرایط ویژه‌ای قرار داده است که به مثابه یک فرصت برای دو طرف است. این پژوهش  با رویکرد توصیفی-تحلیلی به‌دنبال پاسخ به این سوال است که جبر جغرافیایی چه تاثیری بر روابط بین این جمهوری‌ها دارد و جایگاه ایران در این وضعیت چگونه است؟ فرضیه مورد بررسی نیز این است که جبر جغرافیایی همچنان امنیت را اولویت اصلی این کشورها قرار می‌دهد و ایران با توجه به ظرفیت‌های خود توان خروج این کشورها از جبر جغرافیایی را دارا می‌باشد.
