Russia seeks to regain its lost place in the international system. From Moscow's point of view, the emergence of Russia in the international system, the formation of one of its poles around the Russian axis and the creation of a strategic balance with the West require the expansion of Russian influence in the near future and finally the establishment of regional structures and arrangements led by This is the country. On the other hand, in order to define its strategic interests globally, the United States has entered the Caucasus and the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis, seeking to expand its regional influence and domination of the Caucasus, and ultimately to contain and isolate Russia's regions. Thus, the main question of the research is what policy do the United States and Russia pursue to seize the power equations in Nagorno-Karabakh? In response to this hypothesis, given that Russia considers the Caucasus and the Nagorno-Karabakh region to be its exclusive sphere of influence and a strategic bulwark against US and Western expansionism; Therefore, the US presence in this region with the aim of increasing its influence and seizing the levers of regional power is considered as a sign of weakening the grandeur and prestige of the Kremlin, and in this regard; Efforts have been made to block and prevent the expansion of US growing influence in the layers and equations of power in the Caucasus and the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which in turn disrupts energy flows and exports oil, gas and gas to world markets. It can have significant effects on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The research data was analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method.
